DJ Quest, known to many as "The Haitian Sensation," has built a reputation in the music industry as one of the most energetic and diverse DJ's to ever touch a set of turntables. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Quest has been influenced by many of the Hip-Hop greats that have also originated there. This is reflected in the music that he plays but now as a Florida resident, Quest's repertoire has also been influenced by the southern stylistics of the "Dirty South."
Quest started his radio career on WDME 91.7 (Orlando) along with Dj 007 and "G" of the Street Dwellers. Quest later went on to hosting his own show on WPRK 91.5 (Orlando). His show was called "THE HIP-HOP LOCK DOWN." It featured local DJ's and new music that was heard on commercial stations.
In 2001 Quest made a career move and relocated to SW Florida from Central Florida to become the newest member of the 1055 the beat WBTT family. He now is one half of the #1 night show in the south along with fellow host Soul brother Kevin. Since 2001 Quest has been featured on the Lee Pitts TV show, noted as a Florida Power in Ozone magazine, featured in Network 41 magazine, R&R magazine, Gazette Haitian, noted as one of Central Florida's hottest dj's, and Nominated "DIRTY SOUTH DJ OF THE YEAR".
